Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year work experience in food and beverage environment
- Prior banquet server or waiter/waitress experience preferred
- Knowledge of catering services terminology preferred
- Ability to receive and carry out instructions in a timely manner
- Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- Ability to speak and understand English to converse with coworkers and supervisors, as well as to understand tasks issued
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work independently and with others

Job Duties
- Report for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time
- Follow instructions for each event as given by the Banquet Manager and/or Banquet Supervisor
- Assist with collecting all banquet equipment including flatware, china, glassware and serving pieces needed for each event
- Assist with preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments and breads
- Assist with cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, creamers, etc.
- Assist with preparation and set up of event room when necessary
- Prepare tables and place settings as instructed by the Banquet Manager and/or Banquet Captain
- Attend pre-function briefing for event details
- Always provide friendly and courteous customer service
- Remain at assigned station and perform duties as assigned according to each event
- Report any customer service concerns to the Banquet Supervisor or Banquet Manager
- Breakdown tables and banquet equipment after each event
- Clean and return serving pieces to proper storage area
- Adhere to strict grooming standards and company policies
- Complete necessary assigned side work
- Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary
