Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous server experience a plus but not required
  • excellent people skills required
  • must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • long periods of standing and walking
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and push a cart that weighs up to 150 lbs
  • weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply

Job Duties

  • Serving food and beverages in a prompt and professional manner
  • assisting in the set up and tear down of banquet-related equipment such as tables and table settings
  • maintaining a neat and clean atmosphere
  • reading Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and ensuring all contract requirements are met prior to the start of the event
  • being attentive and removing plates once guest is finished, refilling water glasses as needed, and addressing any other guest requests
  • adhering to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies
  • performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
