Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or event catering is an advantage but not always required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to carry and balance trays of food and drinks
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Stamina to work in fast-paced environments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and a customer-first approach
- Punctuality and reliability
- Team player with a strong work ethic

Job Duties
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and glassware according to the event's layout
- Decorate tables and spaces as per the event theme or guidelines
- Serve plated meals or manage buffet stations
- Deliver beverages, including wine and cocktails, promptly and correctly
- Respond to guest needs and requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Work with event coordinators, kitchen staff, and other servers to ensure seamless service
- Communicate any guest concerns or special requests to supervisors
- Clear tables and remove dishes after each course or at the end of service
- Pack away decorations, chairs, and tables
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the banquet space before, during, and after the event
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling practices
- Adhere to alcohol-serving laws and company policies
