Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in banquet or food service preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to pass Alcohol Awareness Program within four weeks of hire
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance
- Good attitude and work ethic practices to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required
- Employee must be able to pass Alcohol Awareness Program within four weeks of hire
Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function
- Set up assigned tables
- Retrieve and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirements, courteously and efficiently
- Restock buffet items as per specifications
- Take beverage orders and collect payments where specified
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment while actively practicing service standards
