Job Duties

  • Set up banquet function areas by arranging table linens, china, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and preparing perishable items e.g., bread, butter, and cream for service
  • Serve food and beverages to banquet guests with prompt, professional service throughout the event
  • Clear tables and service items after the banquet, including dishes, linens, and any used equipment, ensuring thorough and efficient cleanup
  • Ensure proper storage of all items, from equipment to perishable foods, to maintain inventory integrity and prevent waste
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are tidy and ready for service
  • Prepare for future banquets by folding napkins, refilling condiments, and performing other necessary tasks to ensure readiness for upcoming events
  • Provide relief to colleagues by covering breaks during shifts, ensuring smooth operations at all times
  • Proactively greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, enhancing their overall experience
  • Other duties as assigned by the leader
