Job Requirements

  • stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • must be able to work under pressure or in the presence of a large guest crowd during offered guest receptions and maintain a courteous and hospitable demeanor and attitude throughout
  • must be able to maintain a courteous and hospitable demeanor and attitude towards all: guests, peers, management without regard of home department, position and/or heritage
  • report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in regulation with company dress code policy
  • adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures
  • move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
  • must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Job Duties

  • assist with table and meeting space prep before the event
  • read and execute all beos
  • set up display stations and pop up bars to fqi standards
  • assist with food/buffet preparation before and during the event
  • ensure safe food handling guidelines are followed by self and team members
  • arrange food on serving trays in an aesthetic manner
  • deliver food from the kitchen and/or prep area to the meeting space in a timely manner
  • serve appetizers and plated items to guests
  • open wine, take drink orders
  • serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • always remain guest focused with the goal being 100% satisfaction and completion of all beos
  • assist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down
  • work as a member of a team, communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work ethic and overall guest satisfaction
