Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Previous experience in banquet setup or related field preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand walk bend crouch balance kneel crawl and climb throughout the shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Capability to follow detailed instructions and complete complex tasks
- Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays nights and weekends
- Physical ability to perform repetitive hand and foot motions
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in moderate to loud noise environments
- Willingness to comply with health and safety standards including cleanliness and fire codes
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a banquet setup porter preferred
- Ability to communicate in English both in written and oral form
- Ability to complete complex tasks involving reading math and writing
- Skills in instructing precision working following instructions influencing others memorization problem solving independent judgment and decision making
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexibility to work all shifts including on-call standby holidays nights and weekends
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Execute the preparation setup and teardown of banquet areas and meeting spaces including moving furniture and stage platforms lifting heavy objects such as chairs tables and dance floor sections and pushing or pulling carts
- Interact with guests in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards and fire codes from the City of Nevada
- Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
