Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull 75lbs or less frequently
- Constant standing, walking, bending, crouching, balancing, reaching overhead, kneeling, crawling, and climbing during shifts
- Frequent use of hands and feet including grasping motions and finger dexterity
- Constant use of vision abilities including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a banquet setup porter preferred
- Ability to communicate in English, both in written and oral form
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and complex task completion skills
- Skills in instructing, precision working, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- Flexibility to work all shifts including on-call/standby, holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
Job Duties
- Execute the preparation, setup, and teardown of banquet areas/meeting spaces including moving furniture and stage platforms, lifting heavy objects such as chairs, tables, and dance floor sections and pushing/pulling carts
- Interact with guests in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards and fire codes from the City of Nevada
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
