Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or banquet setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual kitchen tasks
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Valid food handling certificate as required

Job Duties
- Prepare banquet desserts pastries and salads for catering events
- Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
- Ensure food is fresh and of high quality when served to guests
- Monitor portion control and serving temperatures during events
- Collaborate with Executive Chef to prepare product orders and production levels
- Clean stock and restock workstations and displays
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills deep-fat fryers and ovens
- Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and food products properly stored
- Maintain sanitation health and safety standards in work areas
- Be checked out by Floor Supervisor to ensure kitchen cleanliness standards are met
- Demonstrate excellent attendance
