Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in banquet setup or catering services
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good physical stamina

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, and guests
  • Relevant experience in a high quality, high volume catering and convention environment
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Set-up tables, chairs, and other banquet equipment for conference and catering events in accordance with customer contract requirements
  • Clean and maintain meeting spaces daily in accordance with company standards
  • Coordinate with other supervisors to assure the set-ups and teardowns are punctual and coordinated with other staff
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Oversee service operations during events
  • Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
  • Manage banquet staff workflow during events
