Job Qualifications
- One year or more of banquet management experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum age of 21 years

Job Duties
- Lead a small team supporting day-to-day banquet activities
- Execute well-defined work assignments under moderate control and review
- Serve as the main contact for event organizers, ensuring clear communication and proper execution by staff
- Supervise, train, and evaluate banquet staff to maintain Geronimo standards
- Receive and interpret event requirements from event and sales managers
- Ensure banquet room setup including linen and china is complete
- Follow all health and safety practices during events
- Schedule front-of-house banquet staff
- Attend Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings regularly
- Complete all preparatory work before event start
- Monitor food and beverage service for consistency
- Set up buffets as needed according to management standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude
- Facilitate clear communication between staff and kitchen
- Maintain cleanliness and complete side work during events
- Verify tallies of consumed food, beverages, and AV equipment
- Process payments and provide receipts to clients
- Ensure all banquet items are returned to proper locations after events
- Respect coworkers and managers
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a fun work environment
- Complete all cleaning and side duties before leaving
