Job Requirements

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Duties
- Manage daily banquet functions including planning, organizing, and executing various events such as breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas
- Oversee the setup of function rooms ensuring placement of linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware according to event specifications and conducting thorough inspections
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, counselling, evaluations, and providing recognition and rewards
- Recruit, interview, and train banquet team members
- Communicate event specifications, procedures, and changes with related departments including Food and Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, and Housekeeping
- Oversee the breakdown of function rooms and ensure proper storage of equipment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
