Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2-3 years management experience in hospitality
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- able to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- must be professional and courteous at all times
- ability to operate point of sale systems accurately
- must maintain neat appearance in company uniform
- able to effectively card guests for alcohol and tobacco purchases
- pass server validation
- maintain current Food Handlers Card and OLCC Servers Permit
- availability to work weekends and holidays
- regular and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- some college preferred
- wine knowledge courses preferred
- 2-3 years management experience in restaurant, golf clubhouse, or hotel/restaurant management
- ability to perform all assigned duties satisfactorily
- ability to operate point of sale systems
- ability to deliver food and clear tables lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to respond professionally to guests and resolve complaints
- must be professional and courteous at all times
- ability to verbally communicate menu items clearly
- ability to memorize or write orders
- ability to balance cash at end of shifts
- ability to effectively card guests for alcohol and tobacco purchases
- ability to present information and respond to questions from groups
- maintain current Food Handlers Card and OLCC Servers Permit
Job Duties
- Review scheduled banquet staff and assign functions
- conduct pre-banquet meetings and review banquet event orders
- check room set-up and coordinate with Chef on food quantities and timing
- conduct random audits during events to ensure service quality and accurate revenue entries
- achieve budgeted food sales, beverage sales, and labor costs
- maintain inventory of banquet equipment and supplies
- review banquet schedules and communicate changes
- keep Food & Beverage Director informed of personnel issues
- create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and employees
- uphold food and service quality standards
- foster a cooperative and positive working climate
- remain available and approachable to team members
- maintain organized and clean work areas
- attend training and department meetings
- perform duties timely and effectively
- uphold professional standards and appearance
- assist Outlets Manager with staff supervision
- manage multiple tasks effectively
- incorporate safe work practices
- ensure regular and reliable attendance
- work weekends and holidays as needed
