Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Ability to manage financial and administrative responsibilities
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Knowledge of applicable laws and sanitation standards
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Willingness to work on-site at BWI Airport Marriott
- Availability to work full-time
- Ability to handle guest feedback and complaints professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of banquet operations and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
Job Duties
- Direct and motivate banquet and event teams
- Monitor financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- Manage departmental inventories and banquet beverage perpetual inventory
- Schedule banquet service staff according to service standards and profitability goals
- Develop lasting relationships with groups to retain and grow business
- Conduct monthly department meetings and lead shifts in event servicing
- Handle guest feedback and complaints to ensure exceptional customer service
