Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of relevant experience may substitute for education
- Serve Safe certification required
- CPR and First Aid preferred
- Previous experience in banquet or event management strongly preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties
- Lead all banquet and event operations with excellence and attention to detail
- Oversee food and beverage service, event set-up, and team coordination
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies
- Manage budgets, staffing, and departmental objectives
- Serve as a liaison between banquet operations and other hotel departments
- Monitor inventory and equipment, ensuring all banquet spaces are well-maintained
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate banquet staff to uphold service standards
- Provide exceptional client service and handle event-related inquiries or issues professionally
- Ensure accurate billing, reporting, and documentation related to events
- Attend all relevant meetings and ensure consistent communication across departments
