Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of banquet or event management experience
- At least 1 year of experience managing large event teams
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Valid form of identification
- ServSafe Certification

Job Duties
- Manage banquet operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event services
- Lead shifts and actively participate in event service to ensure smooth execution
- Serve as the primary liaison for hosts and event contacts throughout the lifecycle of an event
- Partner with the Events and Sales teams to support client relationships and repeat business
- Act as a liaison between banquet service and the culinary team
- Set the standard for hospitality and guest engagement
- Interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels
- Address and resolve guest concerns or service challenges quickly and professionally
- Ensure employees understand service expectations and deliver exceptional experiences
- Manage and schedule banquet staff to meet forecasted event needs while adhering to labor budgets
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training opportunities to support team development
- Conduct department meetings and participate in leadership and property meetings
- Empower team members to provide outstanding guest service and problem-solve on the floor
- Monitor banquet operations to ensure adherence to company standards and procedures
- Maintain sanitation standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Manage banquet inventories, equipment, and supply needs (china, glassware, silver, décor, etc.)
- Control beverage costs through banquet beverage records and perpetual inventory tracking
- Execute monthly beverage inventory and monitor cost controls
- Review Meeting Planner Survey feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience
- Participate in the development and execution of corrective action plans where needed
- Reinforce Atlas Restaurant Group Core Values in daily operations and leadership
