Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
- Ability to quickly learn hotel and catering management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to multitask and delegate
- Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to navigate hotel departments
- High integrity and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality preferred
- At least 2 years of banquet or event management experience
- Experience in hotel banquet management preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler Certificate preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to adapt to constant change
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Attend all BEO meetings to coordinate event details with Sales and Culinary teams
- Determine banquet team staffing needs and prepare work schedules
- Supervise event set-up including the placement of tables, chairs, and equipment
- Serve as on-site contact for guest inquiries and special requests
- Oversee guest flow, food and beverage service, and clearing of dishes
- Ensure safe food handling and maintain food and beverage quality
- Supervise event breakdown and cleanup
- Charge group folios in the PMS system after events
- Verify and approve banquet team timecards and distribute service charge payouts
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach banquet team members
- Perform monthly inventory of banquet supplies and order as needed
- Maintain banquet equipment and facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
