Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in food and beverage operations management
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal food safety and alcohol service laws
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Experience in vendor and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct all functions of planning and post reporting for all F&B guest services, banquets, concessions, and premium bars
  • Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all food and beverage products and services
  • Assist ED and F&B Director in achieving profit objectives and service standards
  • Implement cost and inventory controls for food, beverage and labor
  • Review and evaluate customer satisfaction and venue experiences
  • Assist F&B Director with adjusting F&B menus and services to match event content
  • Oversee hiring, training, and coaching of all food and beverage service positions
  • Create and nurture a motivated and empowered team environment
  • Handle guest concerns proactively and professionally
  • Implement training programs for all food and beverage services
  • Manage vendor planning and ordering
  • Plan schedules and supervise all food and beverage service employees
  • Conduct supervisory responsibilities in line with company policies and laws
  • Develop and implement policies and training for food, beverage, alcohol service and sanitation standards
  • Assist F&B Director with financial management and budgeting
  • Maintain all food and beverage equipment
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage
  • Maintain product freshness and quality
  • Keep F&B areas stocked and ready for events
  • Uphold health codes and sanitation regulations
  • Manage waste control
  • Collaborate with venue leadership team
  • Maintain community involvement in local and charitable organizations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
