Job Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age required to serve alcoholic beverages
- at least two years of experience as a banquet manager preferably in a luxury or ultra-luxury environment
- high school diploma required
- knowledge of multiple service styles including French, Russian, butler-style, tableside service
- expertise in room setup styles and banquet flow
- strong understanding of Banquet Event Orders (B.E.O.'s), staffing guidelines, and labor management
- familiarity with food and beverage cost controls and banquet sales tools
- working knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures
- exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues using sound judgment
- excellent communication skills in English, additional languages preferred
- ability to work cohesively with cross-functional teams
- ability to lift and transport up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and move throughout shift
- ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain complete knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards
- ensure superior service standards are upheld daily
- oversee event execution from set-up through breakdown
- review and organize Banquet Event Orders (B.E.O.'s)
- communicate updates and changes
- inspect function spaces for cleanliness, proper setup, and equipment readiness
- conduct pre-function meetings to review service details, VIPs, timing, and special requests
- direct service flow, monitor timing, and ensure seamless coordination with Culinary and Stewarding
- strictly adhere to state liquor laws including regulations prohibiting service to minors or intoxicated persons
- greet and engage hosts and guests
- ensure all arrangements meet expectations
- anticipate guest needs and promptly resolve concerns
- handle guest complaints professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction
- promote positive guest relations at all times
- prepare weekly schedules aligned with labor forecasts and business levels
- ensure proper staffing and compliance with attendance standards
- conduct training programs for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff
- provide performance feedback and manage disciplinary matters when necessary
- foster a collaborative, professional work environment that supports morale and productivity
- track revenue against budget and review daily sales
- ensure compliance with cashiering and accounting procedures
- prepare payroll and tip distribution records accurately and timely
- establish par levels and requisition supplies as needed
- maintain accurate departmental documentation and logs
