Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor event environments
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in banquet or event management preferably in a country club hotel or upscale event venue
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting Banquet Event Orders and floor plans
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and best practices
- Proficiency in event management software POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays based on event schedule
Job Duties
- Oversee all banquet functions including weddings private parties member events and corporate gatherings
- Attend and contribute to Banquet Event Order meetings to ensure a clear understanding of upcoming events and requirements
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and culinary team to coordinate menu execution timing and special requests
- Manage event setup execution and breakdown ensuring all standards and expectations are met or exceeded
- Supervise train and schedule banquet staff including servers bartenders and support team members
- Act as the main point of contact during events addressing client or member concerns and making real-time adjustments as needed
- Monitor event timelines ensuring that all aspects of service food beverage entertainment etc. are delivered promptly
- Ensure compliance with all health safety and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory of banquet supplies linens equipment and service ware
- Provide post-event feedback and reporting to the management team
