Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of banquet event operations and compliance with relevant laws
- Ability to manage financial and administrative duties
- Commitment to maintaining high sanitation and service standards

Job Duties
- Directs and motivates team to provide high quality service
- Monitors and controls financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- Provides clear and concise communication to all event stakeholders
- Identifies training opportunities and plans strategies to accomplish goals
- Manages banquet operations including inventory, scheduling, and sanitation levels
- Leads banquet teams by setting goals, delegating tasks, and conducting meetings
- Partners with kitchen and event technology teams to ensure event success
- Attends pre-event meetings and inspects function rooms to verify event requirements
- Responds to guest feedback and handles complaints to improve service
- Conducts human resources activities including employee performance appraisals and safety training
- Ensures compliance with policies and leads continuous improvement initiatives
