Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to stand and exert mobility up to 8 hours
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand primary work language
  • Full-time availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven ability to operate independently and proactively
  • High standards of conduct and professionalism
  • Hands-on approach with ability to manage multiple assignments

Job Qualifications

  • College degree in restaurant/hotel management preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years banquet and/or catering management experience
  • Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and wine
  • Experience with progressive staff training and development
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead a team to deliver results
  • Positive, flexible, can do hands-on approach
  • Delaware Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission Certification
  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • ServSafe Allergen Certification

Job Duties

  • Coordinate service for all on-site ballroom events
  • Oversee off-premise event coordination
  • Hire, train, and supervise ballroom staff including house attendants
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of property interior and exterior
  • Assist ballroom sales managers with administrative tasks
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Manage cost control and enforce policies and procedures
