Job Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • some college preferred
  • 2-3 years management experience or equivalent in restaurant, golf clubhouse, or hotel/restaurant management
  • current Food Handlers Card
  • current OLCC Servers Permit
  • ability to operate P.O.S.
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • professional appearance and conduct
  • able to pass server validation
  • effective verbal and written communication
  • ability to work under pressure
  • reliable attendance
  • incorporation of safe work practices

Job Duties

  • Reviews scheduled banquet staff and assigns functions
  • conducts pre-banquet meetings and reviews event orders
  • checks room set-up and coordinates with Chef
  • conducts random audits during functions to evaluate food and service
  • manages budgeted food sales, beverage sales, and labor costs
  • maintains banquet inventory
  • reviews banquet schedule and calendar of events
  • informs Food & Beverage Director of personnel issues
  • creates welcoming atmosphere for guests and employees
  • upholds food and service quality standards
  • maintains positive working relationships
  • stays available and approachable for team
  • performs Food Server and Bartender duties
  • maintains organized work area and completes side work duties
  • prioritizes and organizes work effectively
  • attends training seminars and meetings
  • performs duties in accordance with company policies
  • assists Outlets Manager in supervising staff
  • handles multiple tasks
  • incorporates safe work practices
  • maintains regular attendance
  • works weekends and holidays as needed
