Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year banquet cooking experience
  • Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays and a combination of AM and PM shifts
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Reliability and honesty
  • Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team

Job Duties

  • Provide appetizing and delicious food to guests
  • Set up equipment and prepare food based on business forecast and catering contracts
  • Prepare salads, sandwiches, cold and hot food entrees according to portion and quality standards
  • Know menus and recipes including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portion size, presentation, and special handling instructions
  • Ensure attractive presentation of all food and beverage products
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing all food and beverage-related products
  • Assist Food & Beverage Manager and banquet staff with catering events
