Job Requirements
- No educational minimum is required
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Previous experience in a banquet lead or similar role preferred
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests
- A professional and warm demeanor consistent with HVMG culture
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar or related banquet or hospitality position
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Knowledge of event setup and service procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Hotel experience considered an asset
Job Duties
- Leading the banquet team to ensure seamless execution of events
- Supervising banquet staff and coordinating event logistics
- Acting as the main point of contact during functions
- Managing timelines and client communications
- Reporting to the Banquet Manager
- Ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations
- Assisting with staff training and performance feedback
