Job Requirements

  • No educational minimum is required
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Previous experience in a banquet lead or similar role preferred
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests
  • A professional and warm demeanor consistent with HVMG culture

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar or related banquet or hospitality position
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Knowledge of event setup and service procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Hotel experience considered an asset

Job Duties

  • Leading the banquet team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • Supervising banquet staff and coordinating event logistics
  • Acting as the main point of contact during functions
  • Managing timelines and client communications
  • Reporting to the Banquet Manager
  • Ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations
  • Assisting with staff training and performance feedback
