Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Minimum one year kitchen management experience in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities
  • Flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or minimum one year related high volume kitchen management experience
  • Three years of previous line experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Ability to perform at a high level unsupervised
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise hourly cooks
  • Produce consistent, quality food products
  • Assist in department training
  • Monitor payroll costs and overtime
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Assume department responsibilities in absence of Sous Chef
  • Communicate effectively with team members
