Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Assign and direct the work and train kitchen associates to maximize productivity and minimize waste
  • Inspect daily use records with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure estimates are filled correctly and followed
  • Pull all food needed for daily production from walk-in box and utilize all leftovers
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
  • Attend all associates meetings and offer sound suggestions to solve problems and maintain effective communication between food production areas
  • Maintain and supervise good housekeeping practices in the kitchen and enforce the clean as you go policy
  • Inspect all work stations, ensure proper setup for banquet events and staff meals
  • Prepare daily production charts
  • Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available to work
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned
