Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year banquet cook experience in a high volume hotel
- ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- physical ability to handle kitchen duties
- positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- at least 1 year banquet cook experience in high volume hotel required
- ability to exert 10 pounds or more of force frequently or constantly by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- follow and ensure compliance with food safety and food handling policies/procedures
- prepare and expedite all menu items accurately and timely according to standardized recipes and at the correct temperatures
- communicate with Executive Chef of any food quality, safety issues, or equipment failure
- follow proper personal hygiene procedures to ensure food served to guests is safe for consumption
- maintain a positive attitude while being a team player
- perform other duties as requested by management
