Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly
- Available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to comply with hotel safety and security protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and maintenance reporting
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or banquet operations preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and quality in performing duties
- Commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Physically push pull lift at least 50-75 pounds daily
- Construct deconstruct meeting spaces based on event diagrams in a timely manner
- Ensure the satisfaction of guests by leaving the meeting spaces ready for their events
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet meeting and conference areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standards
- Clean restrooms vacuum mop sweep shampoo carpets clean wax floors remove trash stock and maintain supply rooms report maintenance deficiencies for repair replacement and cleaning and removing spots insects and debris
- Lift and push banquet equipment including tables chairs ladders stages backdrops
- Ensure equipment is in full working order and report any defects
- Project a professional manner to guests and team members
- Comply with hotel security fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
