Job Requirements

  • Experience as a banquet server or completion of break attendant training
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform assigned banquet server duties
  • Must have a California Food Handler certificate
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Completion of houseperson training and testing

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the food service industry
  • Completion of break attendant training and testing
  • Excellent skills in guest services and catering
  • Must have a pleasant disposition and neat appearance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and show management
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to review, communicate, and provide special meal or service requests
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
  • Ability to take directions and effectively perform the work
  • Must be able to read and understand safety rules and regulations
  • Completion of houseperson training and testing
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours

Job Duties

  • Participate in the setup, operation, and breakdown of banquet and catering events
  • Assist in food and beverage service preparation, including supplying and stocking the event space
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
  • Manage the safety and security of catering equipment and inventory at all times
  • Set tables with linens, china, glassware, and flatware
  • Prepare water, coffee, and other beverage services
  • prepare all condiments and accompaniments for services
  • Maintain service ware and equipment according to established procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary
