Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years previous banquet serving experience
  • ability to stand and move throughout event spaces for extended periods
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • passion for hospitality and guest service
  • proficiency in English

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of banquet serving experience in upscale or luxury hotels
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
  • familiarity with banquet event orders (BEO) and event preparation
  • ability to maintain professionalism and a warm demeanor under pressure
  • teamwork and collaboration skills
  • knowledge of proper food and beverage handling practices

Job Duties

  • welcome guests into the event space and provide exceptional service
  • prepare meeting rooms according to BEO and resume specifications including cleaning, setting furniture, and supplying materials
  • service meeting rooms during events by replenishing supplies and attending to guest needs
  • maintain the cleanliness and order of event spaces before, during, and after meetings
  • deliver guest packages to meeting rooms ensuring readiness for arrivals
  • respond promptly to timing and environmental cues to ensure seamless service
  • collaborate with team members to support flawless event execution
