Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years previous banquet serving experience
- ability to stand and move throughout event spaces for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- passion for hospitality and guest service
- proficiency in English
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of banquet serving experience in upscale or luxury hotels
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment
- familiarity with banquet event orders (BEO) and event preparation
- ability to maintain professionalism and a warm demeanor under pressure
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- knowledge of proper food and beverage handling practices
Job Duties
- welcome guests into the event space and provide exceptional service
- prepare meeting rooms according to BEO and resume specifications including cleaning, setting furniture, and supplying materials
- service meeting rooms during events by replenishing supplies and attending to guest needs
- maintain the cleanliness and order of event spaces before, during, and after meetings
- deliver guest packages to meeting rooms ensuring readiness for arrivals
- respond promptly to timing and environmental cues to ensure seamless service
- collaborate with team members to support flawless event execution
