Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift and move equipment, furniture, and trays
- Prior experience in banquet or food service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work rapidly during busy periods
- Excellent coordination and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as banquet house person or busser at upscale dining establishments
- Familiarity with bartending procedures and setup for private events
- Ability to follow diagrams and instructions for room setups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Physical strength and excellent manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn and adhere to club policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Practice safety first and adhere to emergency guidelines set by the club, state, and Allegheny County
- Assist food servers in various tasks to ensure smooth flow of service
- Remove dirty dishes and replenish supplies
- Set up banquet tables and rooms according to specified diagrams
- Provide attentive service including taking drink orders and serving beverages
- Assist in room setup and breakdown for private functions on and off premises
- Report issues or hazards promptly to supervisors and follow Workers Compensation guidelines
