Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or business administration preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of banquet chef experience in a large-scale operation
  • Proven leadership skills in culinary team management
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent organizational and budget management abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead and manage culinary teams in high-volume banquet environments
  • Expertise in menu creation and food preparation techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • At least 5+ years of banquet chef experience in large-scale operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or business administration preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of banquet food preparation
  • Ensure high-quality execution and compliance with health standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop banquet menus and implement timelines
  • Lead banquet culinary operations including staffing and food preparation
  • Train and mentor culinary staff
  • Monitor and manage food-related expenses including invoices, payroll, and inventory
  • Support cross-departmental initiatives with Sales, FOH, and Events teams
