Job Requirements

  • must be legally permitted to work in the united states
  • two to three years experience in assistant manager role in banquets or related food and beverage operations
  • college degree or equivalent experience in hotel restaurant management
  • ability to work irregular hours weekends and evenings
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • creative approach to event design
  • knowledge of food beverage service and cost control
  • familiarity with audio-visual equipment and internet technology preferred
  • proficiency in reading writing and speaking english

Job Qualifications

  • two to three years experience in an Assistant Manager position in banquets or other food and beverage outlets
  • college degree preferably specializing in hotel restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards policies and standard operating procedures
  • high-end off premise catering experience is an advantage
  • strong organizational skills
  • attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • high level of creativity
  • ability to work irregular hours weekends and evenings
  • knowledge of food and beverage service cost control labor control maintenance merchandising and accounting
  • knowledge of audio-visual equipment and internet technology preferred
  • requires reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language

Job Duties

  • support the Director of Events by planning organizing controlling and directing the work of the Events team
  • participate in procuring decor items for the department
  • oversee all aspects of banquet event service ensuring high standards are met
  • coordinate with culinary and service teams to deliver seamless event experiences
  • manage event budgets and timelines effectively
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events
  • provide leadership and training to banquet staff to enhance performance and guest satisfaction
