Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel restaurant or bar
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability
  • Basic knowledge of mixology and wine service
  • Proficiency in POS system
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must adhere to liquor laws and regulations
  • Must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in luxury hotel restaurants and bars
  • Ability to learn and explain menu items including basic cooking terminology and ingredients
  • Proficiency in using POS system
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of dining service practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of mixology and wine service
  • Familiarity with liquor regulations

Job Duties

  • Serve in Executive Dining Rooms and cater events including breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of mixology and wine service
  • Take and process orders using POS system
  • Perform bussing, cleaning and resetting tables
  • Prepare and serve beverages in the bar area in a courteous and timely manner
  • Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • Greet guests and verify proper identification at the bar
  • Communicate special dietary requests to kitchen staff
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
