Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen supervision
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining logs and documentation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and meets quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure food and ingredients are properly labeled and stored to standards and maintain required logs and temperature checks
  • Create positive associate relations leading to high engagement and low turnover
  • Lead team in a fair, firm, and consistent manner
  • Ensure the team is well trained, knowledgeable of expectations, and up to date with certifications
  • Coach kitchen staff on advanced food preparation techniques
  • Troubleshoot kitchen equipment issues and implement alternate solutions
