Job Requirements

  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, or event planning
  • One year as a coordinator in hospitality or a similar industry
  • Basic knowledge of banquet operations
  • Ability to utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to learn and use POS computer systems
  • Ability to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience within a hotel or resort environment
  • Basic knowledge of banquet operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience as a coordinator in hospitality or a similar industry
  • Valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative assistance to banquet and culinary management teams
  • Maintain filing systems related to banquet functions
  • Audit banquet checks to ensure accuracy
  • Track changes in banquet event orders (BEOs) to keep all teams informed
  • Ensure proper staffing levels for banquet events
  • Coordinate communication between departments for event execution
  • Assist in problem-solving to enhance guest experiences
