Job Requirements
- Experience in hospitality, hotels, or event planning
- One year as a coordinator in hospitality or a similar industry
- Basic knowledge of banquet operations
- Ability to utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to learn and use POS computer systems
- Ability to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts as required
- Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience within a hotel or resort environment
- Basic knowledge of banquet operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Experience as a coordinator in hospitality or a similar industry
- Valid current Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one within 30 days of employment
Job Duties
- Provide administrative assistance to banquet and culinary management teams
- Maintain filing systems related to banquet functions
- Audit banquet checks to ensure accuracy
- Track changes in banquet event orders (BEOs) to keep all teams informed
- Ensure proper staffing levels for banquet events
- Coordinate communication between departments for event execution
- Assist in problem-solving to enhance guest experiences
