Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of similar cooking experience preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- must comply with company uniform and safety shoe policy
- willingness to observe all company policies and procedures
- successful completion of background check

Job Duties
- Wash, peel, cut, chop, slice, and otherwise prepare vegetables and other cooking elements for meal preparation during a shift
- responsible for storing items in the refrigerator, covering items left in the open air, and preparing special food elements ahead of time for quick access and use
- may be responsible for preparing a certain portion of a dish
- work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift
- complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station
- break down and clean station thoroughly every day
- ensure proper rotation of all products to par
- label, day dot, and sign all products
- obtain chef/manager signature on all products
- must be dressed and well groomed in company approved uniform at all times
- observance of all SRC policies and procedures
- must wear approved manufacturer certified slip resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working
