Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of similar cooking experience preferred
  • ability to clearly communicate in English
  • must wear approved manufacturer certified slip resistant or non-slip shoes
  • be dressed and well groomed in company approved uniform at all times
  • ability to walk and stand for hours at a time
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • no regular travel requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year similar cooking experience preferred
  • ability to clearly and effectively communicate in English

Job Duties

  • Wash, peel, cut, chop, slice, and otherwise prepare vegetables and other cooking elements for meal preparation during a shift
  • responsible for storing items in the refrigerator, covering items left in the open air, and preparing special food elements ahead of time so that they can be quickly accessed and used in cooking
  • may be responsible for preparing a certain portion of a dish
  • work with speed and efficiency to ensure proper and timely output of restaurant menu items
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout shift
  • complete assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station
  • break down and clean station thoroughly every day
  • ensure proper rotation of all products to par
  • label, day dot, and sign all products
  • obtain chef/manager signature on all products
  • be dressed and well groomed in company approved uniform at all times
  • observe all SRC policies and procedures
  • must wear approved manufacturer certified slip resistant or non-slip shoes at all times while working
