Job Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Valid Food Handlers Permit or ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within two weeks
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 30lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally
- Willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends
- Minimal understanding of English required
- Ability to work with different personalities and cultures
- Must stay off phone and maintain strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Must be proactive and self-starting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Permit or a valid ServeSafe Certification or be able to possess one within the first two weeks of employment
- Some background in American cuisine with elements of French techniques is preferred
- 1 year of previous banquet, prep and line experience is preferred
- Good communication and organization skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a high level of professionalism
- Abide by Company policies and procedures
- Work independently with little supervision
- Courteous and helpful with Company Club Members and employees
- Willingness to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends
Job Duties
- Responsible for all prep, setup and breakdown related to each event's individual needs
- Responsible for cleaning the station daily and maintaining the health and safety standards according to Company Guidelines
- Follow direction given by the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef
- Execute food plating/cooking techniques as shown to them
- Be open to teaching and instructing
- Maintain any food standards set forth by the Executive Chef
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Other duties as assigned
