Job Duties
- Prepare and present banquet dishes and trays appropriately
- Organize and operate buffet and banquet stations
- Slice buffet meats according to guest requests
- Support banquet and buffet operations ensuring adequate product availability
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers for cooking
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation checklists
- Prepare cold dishes
- Taste dishes to confirm proper cooking
- Monitor food quality during preparation
- Set up and divide workstations
- Serve food in appropriate portions and containers
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Follow all safety policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and appearance
- Protect company property
- Anticipate and attend to guest service needs
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Support team to achieve common goals
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Stretch above head and below knees
