Job Requirements
- Technical, vocational, or trade school diploma
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
- Capability to stretch, bend, twist, stoop, and crouch
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds unassisted
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills in English or Spanish
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to maintain a clean and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Technical, vocational, or trade school diploma

- No supervisory experience required
- No licenses or certifications required
Job Duties
- Determine food presentation using Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- Prepare special meals or substitutions
- Assist with banquet food distribution
- Communicate needed assistance to the chef during busy periods
- Ensure proper portions, distribution, and garnishing of food
- Monitor quality and quantity of prepared food and portions served
- Prepare dish presentations and banquet trays appropriately
- Organize and operate banquet or buffet stations
- Cut buffet meats upon guest requests
- Support banquet and buffet ensuring adequate product availability
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Prepare cooking ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
- Prepare cold dishes
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management
- Conduct safety training and obtain certifications
- Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Protect company assets
- Support the team to meet common goals
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Stretch, bend, twist, stoop, and crouch
- Move, lift, carry, push, drag, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
