Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pleasant, upbeat, and sociable demeanor throughout the workday
- Availability to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate quickly and accurately
- Ability to maintain safety standards consistently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary experience in banquet or large-scale food preparation preferred
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate in a team
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to adapt recipes and portion sizes
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Plan menus with clients or event planners to suit occasions and dietary needs
- Oversee preparation of large quantities of food in advance
- Manage kitchen staff for smooth operation and timely meal delivery
- Ensure quality control including taste, presentation, and food safety
- Adjust recipes and portion sizes based on guest numbers
- Communicate with catering managers, chefs, and staff to coordinate efforts
- Handle stress of preparing and serving food within set timeframes
