Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Pleasant, upbeat, and sociable demeanor throughout the workday
  • Availability to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate quickly and accurately
  • Ability to maintain safety standards consistently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary experience in banquet or large-scale food preparation preferred
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to adapt recipes and portion sizes
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Plan menus with clients or event planners to suit occasions and dietary needs
  • Oversee preparation of large quantities of food in advance
  • Manage kitchen staff for smooth operation and timely meal delivery
  • Ensure quality control including taste, presentation, and food safety
  • Adjust recipes and portion sizes based on guest numbers
  • Communicate with catering managers, chefs, and staff to coordinate efforts
  • Handle stress of preparing and serving food within set timeframes
