Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 30 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive motions bending climbing and other physical activities
- Willingness to work nights holidays and weekends
- Basic understanding of food ingredients and preparation methods
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a banquet cook or similar culinary role
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in food preparation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Leverage knife skills experience and technique to confidently prep and run a station during busy service
- Seamlessly work with an energetic and positive kitchen team to prepare and reproduce menu items which will exceed our guest's expectations
- Embrace an active and innovative approach to expand your knowledge of food and beverage continuously
- Understand all ingredients as they pertain to each recipe and preparation of each authentic menu item
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely food preparation and service
