Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience as a line cook, banquet cook, or in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing event needs

  • Prior experience as a line cook, banquet cook, or in a high-volume kitchen preferred
  • Experience preparing food for large groups or catered events a plus
  • Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and safe operating procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required
  • Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate food for banquet functions in line with established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist with menu execution and contribute to maintaining high culinary standards
  • Work closely with the banquet and catering teams to ensure events run smoothly and exceed guest expectations
  • Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to support banquet operations
  • Support banquet chefs and leads with daily prep, setup, and breakdown of kitchen operations
  • Other duties as assigned
