Job Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred
- 2+ years working in kitchens or equivalent on the job training (3+ years)
- ability to work all kitchen stations
- ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work independently

- willingness to comply with hotel’s drug-free workplace policy
- ability to respond properly in emergencies
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred
- minimum 2 years working in kitchens or equivalent on the job training (3+ years)
- knowledge of basic cooking techniques such as sauté, braise, poach, grill, fry, steam
- ability to work all stations in any given outlet
- ability to fabricate all proteins needed for service
- strong communication skills
- ability to train and lead staff through service
- professional demeanor
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Control quality and consistency of all food served
- insure that station or relevant prep list is set in a timely manner
- insure all supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply before service
- assist in controlling waste and cross utilizing
- demonstrate knowledge of all food items produced by an assigned station
- handle and store food properly and safely
- produce all orders consistently, quickly, and in accordance with established quality standards
