Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience as a line cook, banquet cook, or in a high-volume kitchen preferred
- knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and safe operating procedures
- ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- flexibility to adapt to changing event needs and work in a fast-paced environment
- dependable and punctual
- commitment to maintaining quality standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- culinary training or certification is a plus but not required
- food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred
- prior experience as a line cook, banquet cook, or in a high-volume kitchen preferred
- experience preparing food for large groups or catered events a plus
- knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and safe operating procedures
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate food for banquet functions in line with established recipes and presentation standards
- assist with menu execution and contribute to maintaining high culinary standards
- work closely with the banquet and catering teams to ensure events run smoothly and exceed guest expectations
- maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment
- assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to support banquet operations
- support banquet chefs and leads with daily prep, setup, and breakdown of kitchen operations
- other duties as assigned
