Job Duties
- Assist the chef in the production and fabrication of food items for various group events
- Interpret and accurately execute recipes ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Minimize food waste through proper organization and cross-utilization of ingredients
- Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment for efficient preparation
- Prepare ingredients including chopping peeling and portioning food items
- Maintain a clean organized and sanitary kitchen environment
- Ensure proper storage of food and other supplies
- Be accountable for the quality and presentation of all prepared dishes
