Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate
- Three years experience in a similar position in an upscale convention hotel or restaurant
- Food handler certification required
- Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
- Compute basic arithmetic to include percentages
- Knowledge of all stations in the banquet kitchen
- Previous guest relations training and experience

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the recipes and standards
- Ensure all food items are cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
- Work efficiently to manage multiple orders simultaneously during peak hours
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and food items
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality service
- Communicate effectively with servers and other team members to coordinate orders
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen
- Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
