Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Willingness to follow safety, security, and hygiene policies
  • Commitment to professional appearance and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
  • Ability to operate cooking equipment including ovens, grills, and fryers

Job Duties

  • Prepare proper plate and platter presentations for banquets
  • Set up and operate action stations for banquet or buffet
  • Carve buffet meats as requested by guests
  • Support banquet and buffet by ensuring adequate stock of all items
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare foods
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
